A cautionary tale about a misplaced comma

A panda goes into a restaurant and orders a meal. When he has finished, he pulls out a gun and fires it. Then he tries to leave without paying. The manager demands to know what he thinks he's doing. The panda hands him an encyclopaedia and says, "I'm a panda. Look it up." The manager turns to the entry for pandas and reads:

Panda. A black and white bear that eats, shoots and leaves.
